President: Dra. Virginia Maquieira D’Angelo

Professor of Social Anthropology of the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, Spain, and director of the UNESCO Chair Unitwin Network in “Gender Policies and Equal Rights between Women and Men”. Ex-director of the Instituto Universitario de Estudios de la Mujer of the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (2002-2006), Spain. She is author and/or editor of several research works in the following fields: theory and methodology of gender systems; feminist reviews of the social anthropology; citizenship, human rights and globalisation; gender and minority sexualities.

Secretary: Dra. Rosaura Mendez Gamboa

PhD in Science of the Physical Culture and Sports: ISCF Manuel Fajardo Habana Cuba. Professor and researcher at Escuela de Cultura y Deporte of the Instituto Tecnológico de Costa Rica (TEC). Member of the Executive Committee of the highest body of Universities Sports: International University Sports Federation (www.fisu.net) and president of the International Committee of Gender Equality. She has published several papers on sports and gender equality.

Member: Dra. Pilar Folguera Crespo

Professor of Contemporary History in the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and holder of the Jean Monnet Chair of European Integration. Member of the Comisión Española de Historia de las Relaciones Internacionales. Member of the Scientific Committee of the UNESCO Chair Unitwin Network in “Gender Policies and Equal Rights between Women and Men”. She has been Vice Chancellor of International Relations in the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and director of Instituto Universitario de Estudios de la Mujer of the same university.

Member: Dra. Teresa Torres-Coronas

Professor of the Business Department in the Universitat Rovira i Virgili, Spain. Member of the Committee of the Academy of Management (EEUU), as the representative in Spain of the Management Education and Development unit, and research collaborator in the research group Technology and Governance Network, coordinated by the Royal Holloway’s Management School (University of London). She has been member staff in different research projects at national and international level. She is author as well of several papers and communications in international conferences about management of intangibles, applied creativity in management, ICT in the business and higher education.
